In line with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) I've included information here about how I store and use your personal data.
USE OF TRACKING AND SITE COOKIES
You won’t be asked for any personal information on this website. Only if you contact me via email, call or attend one of my classes, do I gather and store your contact details (see next section for further information). But, this website does use tracking and site cookies to enhance your experience, such as which device you’re viewing the website on, the pages you visit and your location.
YOUR CONTACT DETAILS
I maintain a database of contact details whenever anyone joins one of my classes. I never share this data with third parties. If another member requests the contact details of a fellow dancer, these are never given without first acquiring consent. The data I keep is purely used to enable me to communicate with you with regards to classes and the other social events I arrange and for no other purposes.
FITSTEPS HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE
If you attend a FitStep class you'll need to complete a health questionnaire before taking part. The completed form is kept to hand at class only in the case of an emergency, if a trained medical practitioner needs further information about your medical history.
MAILCHIMP
I also use Mailchimp to send out updates, which is a marketing automation platform. Only your email address is kept in this account. They are as committed to compliance with the GDPR as I am. You may opt out of receiving these email updates at any time simply by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of one. If you unsubscribe from these updates you'll automatically have your contact details subsequently removed from my database too, unless I know you're actively still attending classes (so I can still notify you about relevant class information). If I suspect your unsubscribe request might have been accidental (as has been known to happen), I would contact you to confirm before actioning the request.
